WORSTED WEIGHT WINTER HAT
Return to Knitting Instructions

Note: This hat is knit on circular needles to avoid the seam. When the stitches get too few to keep on the circular needle, switch to the double pointed needles for your decreases. If you want, you can knit this hat on straight needles, remembering that you will have a seam.

Materials One skein worsted weight yarn. Size 7 or 8 16-inch circular needle and one set of pointed needles. One stitch marker and one large eye needle to sew the hat together.
Size S (M, L)
DIRECTIONS
Cast on 76(84, 88) stitches making sure they are not tightly cast on. Place a marker and join the stitches in a round, making sure not to twist the stitches.

Knit is stockinette stitch until the hat measures 7(7 ½, 8) inches from the beginning cast on stitches.
