On May 15th, CARE TO KNIT participated in a conference given by Women for Conservative Judaism at the Wingate Hotel in Garden City.

A fund-raising event was held at the home of Ines and Stan Glick on May 1, 2005 in honor of Diane Owen. Diane was a very special woman and friend who lost a brave battle with colon cancer in February, 2005. Lap blankets made by our volunteers will be donated to Hospice House in East Northport in her memory.
